Chrome stand-secure fitted to my Runner.

It's not often that a completely new security invention comes along for scooters so when I herd about the Stand Secure I was  interested in trying one. So now a week after getting my chrome plated lock I can hopefully give you some idea about whats good and whats not.

Well start at the start i suppose and if you have any clue whatsoever you will find the stand secure very simple to fit. The kit comes with all the nessessary fittings needed for your scooter and goes on with minimal hassle. The one small thing I didn't like was that for the runner 125/180 you have to remove the side stand in order for the lock to fit. Unlike most people I actually used the side stand almost all the time so its taken a bit of getting used to. The huge benifit that I do like is the fact that it is fitted to your scooter pemenatly so when you park, espescially for a short time, you don't have to get disk locks or chains from under the seat you just push the button and its locked. Obviously your scooter can still be lifted away so if you are parking for a long time you'll want to lock it to something solid.
